Our Consultants have more than 20 years’ experience in LNG industry covering the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors. Our strongest asset is our team who came from companies like BG Group,Excelerate Energy, KBR etc.

Gasochem is well qualified to undertake Feasibility study projects. We have previously executed similar studies on asignificant number of LNG projects around the world. Some key examples of recent LNG studies carried out byGasochem are:

  • Gasochem acted as an LNG advisor to the India’s Reliance Power to establish an FSRU based LNGimport terminal in Bangladesh (3.5 MMt/y). The advisory assignment scope included preparation of afeasibility study for an FSRU based LNG terminal in southern Bangladesh and preparation of scope andagreements for LNG terminal developers. This project is in the final stages of negotiation betweenPetro Bangla and Reliance.
  • Gasochem completed an LNG import terminal feasibility study for a power utility in Southeast Asiaseeking to develop 50 MW gas fired power plants. The study considered onshore and offshoredevelopments at multiple locations and considered LNG supply opportunities, Small LNG terminaltechnology options, site analysis, shipping analysis and a risk review. The study also prepared cost estimates and developed a detailed economic model, reviewed LNG terminal commercial structuresand recommended a terminal development strategy for the utility.
  • Gasochem undertook an LNG terminal selection study for a client in Africa. The study analysed the prosand cons of procurement options for an small scale FSRU, compared the cost and schedule ofdeveloping a conventional land-based terminal versus an SRU-based terminal, developed costestimates for terminal options and prepared an economic analysis of the options.
  • Gasochem provided LNG import advisory services and prepared a feasibility report detailing supply,shipping, regasification and distribution elements for one MMt/y of LNG imports to a Caribbeancountry for power generation. The study considered onshore and offshore LNG terminal options,capital and operating cost estimates, costs of service in $/MMBtu for the alternatives and preliminary development and construction schedules. UrjaGas also reviewed terminal sites, considering locationissues such as land availability, topography and geotechnical considerations, as well as port and marineaccess issues.
